In this tutorial, we’re going to add SmartArt Graphics to our presentation and edit it. SmartArt is a new feature in PowerPoint 2007 that lets you add nice shapes and graphics in your presentation to present a bullet list, relationships, hierarchy lists and so on.
Go to the “Insert” tab and select SmartArt. You are provided with many options and many categories. Go ahead and choose any of them and click OK.

After adding the shape, the “Design” tab will appear on the top.
In the “Create Graphic” section, you can add more shapes or bullets to your current shape. If you click on “Text Pane”, it will open a text box beside the shape so you can insert text inside the shape. In the “Layouts” section, you can choose a different shape.
In the “SmartArt Styles”, you can choose different styles to apply to your shape and different colors. The last option “Reset”, resets your SmartArt Graphic as it was before you made changes to it.
